Since its inception in 1980, the Gloucester County Area Chapter of AAUW has awarded college scholarships both to seniors graduating from high school and to women returning to college.  In recent years applications have waned, so in 2019 we have shifted our support to National AAUW efforts, local charities, and the Rowan University Food Bank.

Throughout the year, members enjoy a variety of social activities.  Activities include day trips, speakers, concerts, and participation in special interest groups such as the Book Group, Movie Group and Scrabble Group. Meetings and social events are usually held in member’s homes.
